Who makes a better King Cake?

 I really don't know .   However the reason  I posted these videos  was to show the different approaches....The New Orleans braided style  vs  The rounded  oval style.   Fried  vs baked. 

Fruit and creme filled vs  Cinnamon  filled.    To all these contrasts  I have one more .... It seems to 

me that Meche's  way of making cakes is geared toward volume.  They are known for their doughnuts  as much as king cakes.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with their approach  it was 

just something I picked  up on.  Mardi Gras king cake tradition is not something people will  get into brawls over.   It is however,  something people  do make their opinions known to all who will listen.

New Year's Resolution

My new years resolution is to regularly back up my files on the computer. I did not back up regularly and
now have paid a price . I lost many pictures and videos which were very dear to me. So I definitely will
be using a backup solution from this point on. I apologize for the lack of posts over the last thirty days.
I will be posting on a regular basis starting next week. Till then .....the adventure continues.
